Privacy policy
Sotino Studios (represented by Christian Dürr, "we") explains here how the iPhone app "Shintaku AI" ("the app") handles your information.
1. In short
The app does not send your information to our servers or anywhere else. There is no account, and no advertising, analytics, tracking or crash-reporting services are built in. The app works without an internet connection.
2. Information stored on your device
To provide its features, the app stores the following only on your iPhone. We cannot see or access any of it.
- Chat history (when 'Save on this iPhone' is on, up to the most recent 120 exchanges) and memories you add yourself (up to 60)
- Things Konta learns in chat (your nickname, likes and dislikes, names of pets or important people, plans, work and hobbies, star sign, blood type, Chinese zodiac)
- Your card readings (date, theme, cards, tendency of the result). The chronicle does not store the text of your question
- App settings (language, sound, reply style, nickname)
Konta learns nothing from messages that touch on sensitive topics such as health, money, religion, politics or sexuality. You can turn remembering off at any time in Settings.
3. AI processing
Card readings and chat replies are created on your iPhone with Apple's on-device AI (the Foundation Models of Apple Intelligence). What you type is not sent to us or to any external server. Apple Intelligence is subject to Apple's privacy policy. On devices without the AI, the app replies with texts included in the app.
4. Why the information is used
The information stored on your device is used only for the app's features: continuing conversations, mentioning things you shared, reading your cards, and showing the chronicle and compendium.
5. Sharing and transfers
We do not share or sell your information. The app has no mechanism to send your information anywhere. Only if you tap the support or privacy links in the app does this website open in your browser.
6. In-app purchases
The app currently has no in-app purchases. If they are added later, payment is handled by the App Store and we never receive card numbers or other payment details.
7. Device permissions
The app only uses vibration (haptic feedback). It does not access your location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos or notifications. Festivals and times of day are calculated in the app from your device's date and time.
8. Storage and backups
Chats, memories, things Konta learned and the chronicle are kept in the app's private storage with iOS Data Protection (unreadable while the device is locked) and excluded from iCloud backups, so they do not transfer to a new iPhone. Some settings, such as language and sound, may be included in backups by iOS.
9. Deleting your information
From the gear at the top right you can delete what Konta learned one by one, or delete all saved data with 'Delete all memories and chats'. Turning off 'Save on this iPhone' also deletes the saved chats and memories. Deleting the app removes all its data from your device.
10. Children
Regardless of age, the app is designed so that we never collect personal information. Parents can delete the data at any time as described in section 9.
11. Changes
We may update this policy when features or laws change. Important changes will be announced on this page or in the app. The updated policy applies from the moment it is published here.

This website (shintaku-oracle.com) uses no cookies, analytics or advertising. To deliver the pages, our hosting provider Cloudflare, Inc. may process technical information such as IP addresses. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
